Liminal Camps

Reimagining the camps as not something solid anymore, but rather, as a point of no return, an agency, which every day is being contested and contrasted with our structured everyday, reinventing with it the fewer resources possible.

The idea of reimagining the refugee camp started as a paper project of social concern. The containers on the left will provide space for identification services enabling both the asylum seekers and the Greek authorities to quickly id the refugees. The containers on the right will provide space for healthcare, while the rest will be used from the refugees as dining and relaxing spaces before they will be appointed to camps around the island.
